Search Engine Optimization PPT Free Download: Fill The Skeleton Yourself
A search engine optimization PPT free download is almost always someone else's finished deck: fixed slide order, fixed examples, fixed conclusion. What you actually need is the sheet underneath it, eight pages with one question each. This page is that sheet, and you can fill it in one working session without downloading anything.
Below: the eight pages, the four zones inside each page, and the speaker notes that keep the deck alive when you are not in the room. Print it, or copy the prompts into your slide app.
Stuck on page four? Send a photo of the sheet and we will point at the missing evidence.

What Should A Search Engine Optimization PPT Free Download Actually Give You?
It should give you a structure, not a script. A usable download hands over eight pages, one question per page, and the four zones inside each page: heading, three points, one visual, one conclusion line. Everything else, including your data and your examples, has to be yours, because that is the only part an audience cannot get elsewhere.
Why The Downloaded Deck Rarely Fits Your Room
Free decks are written for an average audience that does not exist. The author cannot know whether you are selling to a procurement lead who wants risk removed or to a founder who wants growth numbers, so the deck argues both and lands neither. You then spend an evening deleting slides, and the deck still carries a structure built for somebody else's meeting.
The second problem is evidence. A downloaded deck cannot contain your crawl, your query set or your before-and-after, because those did not exist when it was written. So the deck slides toward generic advice, and generic advice is exactly what the buyer already read before they agreed to the meeting.
The third problem is time. Restyling someone else's twenty four slides takes longer than filling eight blank ones, and the result is still shaped by their argument. Starting from an empty sheet is faster, and it forces the decision about what the audience needs to hear before any design work begins.
The Eight Pages, One Question Each
Fill them in order. If you cannot answer a page, you have found the hole in the argument, which is the point of the exercise. Skip nothing and add nothing until all eight have a line.
Frame the room
Who is present, and what do they already believe about their organic traffic?
Name the leak
What is costing them money right now, stated as one number you can defend?
Map query to page
Where does the visitor drop out between the search result and the enquiry form?
Show the diagnosis
What does your own data say that a competitor could not say about them?
Fix structure first
Which three technical changes move before anything else, and in what order?
Then content
What should be published next, for which buyer, on which page?
Prove it moved
What changed, measured on the same metric, over the same window?
Ask for one decision
What single decision do you want before the room breaks?
The Four Zones Inside Every Page
A page fails when it tries to hold four ideas. Give each page exactly these four zones and the audience can read it in six seconds, which is roughly how long a slide gets before attention moves.
Zone 01 · Heading
Eight words maximumA claim, not a topic label. "Organic traffic is leaking at the category page" beats "SEO overview".
Zone 02 · Three points
Twelve words eachThree is the most a room will hold. If you have five, split the page or move two into the appendix.
Zone 03 · One visual
Chart, screenshot or pathThe visual carries the evidence. Never decorate: if the image is not proof, delete it.
Zone 04 · Conclusion
Fifteen words maximumThe line you want repeated back to you later. Write it last, read it aloud once.
Fill prompts that stop blank-page paralysis
Start with the conclusion, not the heading. The conclusion is the sentence you would say if you had thirty seconds in a lift, and everything else on the page exists to support it. Then write the three points as the evidence for that sentence, and only then choose the visual that proves the strongest point.
For the diagnosis page, the prompt that works best is blunt: name the export, name the date, name the three URLs. For the content page, name the buyer and the page that should rank. If a prompt feels impossible to answer, that page is not ready to be built, and no template will fix it.
Speaker Notes: The Part Every Download Leaves Out
A downloaded deck has no notes, because the author was going to present it themselves. The moment your file is forwarded to a colleague, a procurement team or a distributor, the slides have to argue without you. Three lines per page is enough.
Line one, the claim. One sentence you would say out loud while the page is up. Twenty seconds of speech, no more, or the audience reads ahead and stops listening.
Line two, the evidence. Where the number came from and when it was collected. This line exists so that a later reader can defend the page without calling you.
Line three, the bridge. The question you ask before moving on. It keeps the room in the argument instead of letting them audit the design.
Write notes in plain sentences, not fragments. Fragments read fine to the person who wrote them and poorly to everyone else, and the notes are for everyone else. Our SEO Audit Checklist follows the same logic: each item says what to check, why it matters and what good looks like, so it can travel without the author.

What To Cut When You Only Get Ten Minutes
Ten minutes is four pages, not eight pages spoken faster. Keep the frame, the leak, the diagnosis and the ask. Move the plan and the proof into a one-page appendix you leave behind, and say out loud that it is there.
- Merge pages 2 and 3. The leak and the drop-out path are usually the same story told twice.
- Keep page 4 untouched. The diagnosis is the only page a competitor cannot copy, so it keeps its full time.
- Compress pages 5 and 6 into one table with a column for owner and a column for date.
- Always keep page 8. A deck that ends without a decision wastes the meeting it just won.
Three Fill-In Errors That Show Up On Every Sheet
Writing headings as topics. "Technical SEO" tells the room nothing. "Forty one pages excluded from the index" tells them why they are still sitting there. Rewrite every heading as a claim and the deck improves before any design work.
Putting the method on the slide. The room does not need your tool list. It needs the conclusion the tool produced. Move the method into speaker notes, where it belongs, and keep the page for the finding.
Leaving the ask implicit. If page eight says "next steps", the meeting ends with goodwill and no owner. Name the decision, the person and the date, and let the silence after the question do the work.
When the sheet is full, the last step is checking that the pages still point at one decision. That is also where a second pair of eyes helps: we review sheets against live crawl data, which is part of how our On-Page SEO Services engagements start.
Want A Second Pair Of Eyes On The Sheet?
Send the eight pages as they stand, even half-filled. We will mark the pages where the evidence is thin, suggest what to cut for a shorter slot, and tell you whether the deck is ready to leave the building.

A supplier of industrial fasteners had a downloaded deck of thirty one slides and a recurring problem: buyers nodded through it and then asked for a catalogue. We threw the deck away and filled this eight-page sheet instead.
Page four became a table of fourteen category URLs that were excluded from the index, dated and exported. Page five listed three fixes with an owner and a week. Page eight asked for one decision: approval to rebuild the category template before the next trade fair.
The deck ran eleven minutes, the decision was made in the room, and the sheet became the project plan for the following quarter. The slides were never the deliverable. The filled boxes were.
Questions About The Worksheet
Can I use this sheet for a non-SEO topic?
Yes. The eight-page arc is a decision path, not an SEO artefact. Replace the diagnosis page with whatever evidence your buyer needs and the rest still holds.
How many words should one page hold?
Aim for under forty words of on-slide text. Heading, three points, one conclusion line. Anything longer belongs in speaker notes or in the appendix you leave behind.
Do I need design software to fill this?
No. A document with eight headings works for a first draft. Design comes after the argument is stable, and a plain sheet makes it much easier to see whether the argument actually holds.
What if page four has no data yet?
Then the deck is not ready. Either gather a crawl and a query export first, or change the meeting into a discovery session where the missing evidence is the agenda. Presenting without it invites exactly the question you cannot answer.
Is a search engine optimization PPT free download still worth having?
As reference, yes. Read two or three to see how others sequence the topic, then close them and fill this sheet. The reading is research, the filling is the work.
How do I hand the sheet to a designer?
Give them the filled page, the visual for each page and the one-line conclusion. Do not give them the raw research, or the design will try to hold information the audience was never meant to read.
